One of Scholastic’s newest programs, iRead is a digital foundational reading program for students in Kindergarten through Grade 2. iRead is driven by technology and therefore a clean aesthetic is ideal. Although the brand’s characters, or “beasties” as we call them, were preexisting, the website’s footprint is mine from conception. Because we want children to relate to the program’s characters, several images on the site depict a teacher “beastie” interacting with a child. I am responsible for these photo manipulations as well. Overall, iRead is a fun and engaging program designed to inspire young readers while creating literary proficiency. Collateral for this campaign include a website, photobooth and conference graphics, a software walkthrough, and program guide.
